I'm currently working on a collaboration with Bryan where I create the characters and environment and he's going to animate them using mocap data the we recorded. The character that we went with are Guy and Thomas from Daft Punk, I've always been a fan of their music and this project has been pretty fun to work on. I'm looking forward to starting the studio environment they're gong to be in.

3D Personal Project - Harris Falcon II Military Radio
For this project I wanted to practice my hard surface skills a bit as well as branch off into doing some more realistic prop work. Overall I'm pretty happy with the way this project turned out and I was able to learn a bit about applying height information in substance painter in order to add more detail to the mesh without adding much to the production time.

For this project I decided to create a pirate based on the concept by Baldi Konjin. I really liked the concept and thought I would use it as an opportunity to work on hand painted textures as well as blend shapes for facial animations.

3D Personal Project - Buttercup The Cybernetic Dog
For this project I decided to go the creature route and work on modeling a cybernetic dog based on a concept that I found that was created by Elkhan Kildibekov. I chose this project so that I could practice my hard surface skills as well as work on creature stuff, plus I really love the concept.

So the initial plan for this one sort of went out the window and I've been playing catch up. I got Buttercup to a point where I'm pretty happy with the direction it's going in, I'm just gonna need a bit more time to add hair cards for fur and polish things up a bit.

3D Personal Project - Native American
For this project I decided to work on a character for the Wild West Artstation Challenge. I decided to work on a concept created by Mateusz Mizak. I really enjoyed the concept and thought that it would be fun to work on. The poly budget that was given for the challenge was 100k tris, but that a bit crazy so I'm gonna shoot for about 35k tris with his weapon considering a similar character in Overwatch would be somewhere in that ballpark.
Week 01
For the first week I focused on tweaking the proportions and getting the high poly to a point where I could start working on the retopology during week 2. I still need to add items to his belt and figure out more items to put on his backpack, but I'll save that for a bit later.
Week 02
For this week I wanted to focus on getting the bulk of the retopology done. I was hoping to finish the retopo this week so I could get a jump on next week but unfortunately I was able to get all of it done.Right now the poly count is sitting at around 10k tris.
